Attached two file, full operation and drill operation created separately. I need to get a set of changewheels and screwcutting chart for this machine, as well as the cross slide screw for the taper turning attachment (No. I can't tell the difference in the two g-code files. I recently bought this 13' harrison lathe (metric version with 6mm Leadscrew) The machine is also fitted with a taper turning attachment. I guess will have to call Tormach tomorrow and figure this out. But then when I run the full program then it came back and bite me. I thought it work, because I created the drill operation alone and did a quick air cut. ($*&s9a8s) darn it, I am frustrated, what a 5 mins drill job this afternoon actually took 40mins. But if there's a mulitple mop where there's a tool change involve, then it retract to tool change height between drill holes. I think the drilling retract doesn't work correctly if there's a tool change involve, meaning if I create 1 single mop (drill), then it work perfectly fine, it retract to a clearance plane I set in cambam. Quote from: jimmyaz on December 11, 2013, 03:33:13 am Well, I guess problem isn't solve even if I choose to do some extra work. Yes, all my fault, should have check, should have checked again. It went through half inch of 6061 aluminum, 1/4 into my table, then it snapped. I just couldn't believe what a 1/8 drill bit at 5000rpm and 2300mm/m can do. then just click on GoToTool change on Mach3 manually.

I think what I'm going to do is just leave it at the G43H to have it tool offset. well, didn't even want to remember how many time it go up and down between stuff.
#Cambam with dynatorch software
add a whole new issue, it won't retract to clearance between MOP. CamBam CNC software, best value for money, feature rich, CNC Software for G-Code generation on CNC Routers, CNC Mills, Homemade CNC machines, for 2D pocketing, 2D profiling, Text Engraving, Photo Engraving and 3D carving. it retract all the way up because of the M998. But it does it at the beginning before the cut start and at the end of the cut, it go up, go down, then go up again. All of the rest stuff like the M998, adding that screw the hell out of everything.įor instance, adding M998, it work, it does go to tool change. The only thing that it needed was the G43H to offset the tool change. Understand that this Mach3 is custom by Tormach, it doesn't act like the normal Mach3. I think I'm just going to not mess with this no more. Well, after a wet underwear incident and something to remember on my table.
